Hot Times in This City
The heat wave of 2019 couldn’t slow things down!
Our summer package of work, which includes the outside projects which must be completed before students return to Stewart Elementary School, is well underway. The Good Haus will have a new roof, a rebuilt north wall, and some underground work completed by August 22nd. We are also repositioning the basketball court, with confidence that plenty of balls will find their way to us, without having a net hung in front of the seven new windows! We also plan to surprise the students with a new tetherball court, which will thrill them, we are told.
There is still zoning work underway, as the parcel was cut off from parking and now has less than the City of Columbus code requires. In the meantime, the search for just the right nonprofit tenant(s) continues. We are looking for an organization that needs 10,000 square feet of accessible space in a signature building, with a calendar that would allow a fall of 2020 move-in. Tours for prospective tenants are easily arranged.
