Our first ever community garden - The Jefferson Jewel: Rooted in Pride - was planted on May 14 with volunteers from Jefferson Center and Amethyst, who will maintain it throughout the summer. The produce, which will include tomatos, carrots, lettuce, collards, peppers, and green beans, will go to the Amethyst participants who live on Jefferson Avenue.
